About Reservations

・​When using Taisho Romankan Kimono,

you must agree to the terms of use.

In addition, by completing your reservation,

you will be deemed to have also confirmed

,and agreed to the following:

you are also deemed to have read and agreed to the following:

・If you don't know how to make a reservation,

please check out the reservation page.

・To send a reservation confirmation email,

please set up your email settings in advance

to receive emails from

appointments@wixbookings.com (for sending only).

・If you have not received a confirmation email

within 48 hours of making your reservation,

please send an email to romankan.

toiawaseform@gmail.com with the subject

[Reservation confirmation] and your name, date, time, and plan.

※We are receiving many inquiries and responding in order,

so it may take some time for us to respond.

・Kimonos put pressure on the abdomen,

so pregnant women cannot wear them.

・The kimono sizes we have available are

mainly Japanese adult sizes M and L,

with a small number of S, LL, and 3L sizes available.

Also, adults under 145cm tall will be required

to wear a children's kimono.

The above sizes are all approximate,

so wearability may vary.

About visiting our store

 

・Please arrive approximately 5 minutes before

and after your reservation start time.

We cannot accommodate you if you arrive early.

Example) For a 10:00am slot, please come between

9:55am and 10:05am.

Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late,

your reservation will be automatically cancelled

and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

※If your train is delayed, please be sure to get a delay

certificate from the station staff and present it at the reception

when you visit the store.

(Depending on the congestion situation, it may be difficult to guide

you even if you present a delay certificate.)

If we are unable to provide a delay certificate,

your trip will be cancelled.

If you are going to be late, please be sure to contact us by phone.

Please note that we are unable to confirm

any emails due to store conditions,

so any emails you send will be considered invalid.

(The phone number will be listed

in the reservation confirmation email.)

・Our store operates on a reservation basis of 30 minute intervals.

Therefore, it will take 30 minutes for the

tour and choosing your kimono,

30 minutes for dressing and hair styling

It will take about 1 hour in total until departure.

Therefore, if you arrive late, you will have less time

to choose your kimono. Please be aware of this.

Also, if you are late in choosing your kimono,

the number of hair styling options available

to you will be reduced.

​・​Your clothes and small luggage will be stored in a bag

(40cm x 35cm x 18cm) provided by the shop.

Anything that does not fit into the bag cannot be accepted.

In addition, large or heavy travel luggage such as suitcases,

backpacks, and Boston bags,

as well as souvenirs purchased elsewhere,

cannot be checked in, even if they fit in the bag.

Please be sure to leave your luggage in a coin locker

before coming to the store.

・Women will have their hair styled,

so please come without using hairspray or wax.

※Hair styling is not available for men, so please style

your hair yourself before coming to the store.

 

・Please do not apply makeup inside the store.

(including while your hair is being set or while using the restroom)

Please finish applying makeup before coming to the store.

When changing clothes, please take off all your

clothes in a place without separate partitions.

If you don't like being seen, please come to the store

wearing an undergarment.

・Guests who are not wearing a kimono (including children)

will not be admitted.

Please wait for your party outside the premises.

・Outside food and drinks are not allowed.

・Return time is 17:30.

※If you are even one minute late returning the item,

you will be charged a late fee of ¥2,000.

If you late after 10 minutes, you will be forced to return the item the next day, and you will need to pay an additional 10,000 yen.

In that case, all your luggage will be returned the next day.

​・When returning the kimono,

you cannot use the mirror or hair iron.
You can just remove the hair accessories

and go home with your hair as is.

Things to note when wearing a kimono

・If the kimono becomes dirty, damaged or lost

while you are wearing it,

you will need to pay cleaning and repair fees

※Even if the kimono is not stained by the wearer,

the person wearing the kimono must pay for all

stains that occur while the kimono is being worn.

・Please also stop using things that emit odors

(such as cigarettes, yakiniku, monjayaki, izakayas, perfume, etc.)

If there is an odor, we will charge a cleaning fee.

 

・Please refrain from interacting

with animals while wearing a kimono.

(Pets are not allowed)

Cancellation Policy

 

・As a general rule, cancellations are not accepted.

will be charged as a cancellation fee.

For any reason (weather, transportation, etc.),

<After 12:00 noon the day before, 100% of the reservation plan>

cancellation fee will be charged.

※Cancellation by phone is not possible.

※Even if you make a reservation after 12:00 the day before,

if you cancel after your reservation is confirmed,

a cancellation fee will be charged.

※Once you receive the cancellation completion email,

your cancellation will be confirmed.
